so guess who received a message through their boss from HR today about chest hair? you can bet it wasn't Magnum. but you can also bet it was another guy, who's able to sport an amazing mustache, and looks great in a vneck. i guess it's ok for tits to be hanging out all over the place, but being manly is apparently threatening. what is this world coming to?

Mister Jalopy digs my rover

well it was bound to happen sooner or later. a couple months ago i spent some time hanging out with Mister Jalopy of hooptyrides, coco's, MAKE magazine and most recently of dinosaurs and robots fame, which he created with Mark from boinboing. (among other things, like being featured in a japanese tool collectors magazine)

so i cruised over to dinosaurs and robots after a weekend of ignoring the internet, and found a nice little mention of myself here. No photos from our time hanging out, but a link to a nice little puff piece on land rovers from the NYT. We had a great time driving the rover from my house down to Whittier to check out Amanda's late great uncles' garage. Mister Jalopy shot a bunch of great photos of the amazing amount of beautiful garage stuff we found, plus a bunch of photos of my rover. maybe they will see the light of day before the rover is sold, but who knows. I'll keep you all updated, as im sure you're hanging on the edge of your office chair/couch haha!

i couldn't really remember what i had last posted. so i dropped by to check. oh ok, land rovers, got it. in the spirit of thinking, here's two thoughts i had today. other than that, well stay tuned for my update in like 70 years or something.

there's an empty wine glass on the coffee table. i specifically remember this being a table for coffee. where did that conversation break down? somewhere between here and the kitchen? that's a pretty small space for some shit like that man.

why yes, these are new shoes. yep, new balance. what's that? yes, it is an apt name. the heal is a lot higher than my other tennis shoes. im learning to balance allthefuckover again, and that's truth in marketing so thanks for asking.
