still not convinced about the outrageousness of the housing market here in los angeles? not really sweeting the enormous costs associated with buying a house here? well, here's a little comparison shopping. if only i had graduated on time, and had a decent job. who wouldn't want to finance me for this!

i went ahead and calculated the exchange rate for you in dollars as of today, should it sell for five hundred thousand euros. it's roughly $595,849.97 in real money. at that rate you might not even get a fixer-upper in orange county right now!
an old favorite past time of mine was to read the real estate section in architectural digest. i remember one time afew years ago there was an island in france for sale with its own castle and heliport for the price of a 3 bedroom trackhome (around 600,000 if i remember correctly). i gotta get out of california.
