"meet three remarkable women...."

women's overland himalayan expedition

such an amazing story. stuff like this makes me think about how much REALLY has changed in the last 50 years. think about how dangerous it would be now for three women to drive overland from london to the himalaya now! check out the telegraph article, it's a great read. Also make sure to watch the video which is filled with original 16mm footage from their trip, and interviews with all three of these adventurers. oh yeah, what did they drive? need you ask?

these are a few of my favorite things

what better combo? can you tell me?
the camel trophy

(also, first 15 seconds may be NSFW depending on your workplaces view on nearly naked amazonian women dancing in sequined outfits...)

no sleep IN brooklyn!

this is how we roll

so A and I recently returned from our awesome trip to visit Mr. & Mrs. Billionaire out in NYC. we had a really great time! so awesome in fact, we are going to mail ourselves back there every once in a while, just for the heck of it. A is already apartment hunting on craigslist haha!

So we had a great time. the photos, while great, don't really show even 10% of what we were up to. i am sometimes more prone to just live, than shoot pics. i'm pretty sure that most of the photos in the set are of MB and I playing catch in sheep's meadow, central park. while looking at lots of pictures of catch is better than most things, i should try to shoot some more in the future. But for now, just click on the image above, and be magically transported to another website, featuring photos of our fun times! Also, a big thanks to the Billionaires, not only for their lovely friendship and hospitality, but for the free flickr PRO upgrade. AWESOME!!

evening meeting with the Boss

the boss
good news on a monday morning. Tay Springle called me and asked if I was busy on tuesday night. turns out i now have a G.A. floor ticket to see the Boss tomorrow night here in LA. It's his second of two shows in LA this week, and I am so excited.

I still have my copy of the river, and a bunch of other vinyl from my mom's record collection. I remember her taping (on beta no-less) the video for 'i'm on fire' off of MTV sometime in late '85. They played the video like every hour on the hour. it was beautiful. I still have the tape.

for those of you who haven't seen it, here's the full video.

also, if you have ever had any doubt as to just how much bruce kicks ass, well, doubt no more.
